Melinda Roskos, MD, Ph.D, joined The Heart Institute in 2017. She earned her B.S. degree in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado - Boulder. She then went on to complete her Ph.D. degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in microbiology and immunology, studying the response of the immune system following bone marrow transplantation. After receiving her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, she completed her internal medicine residency at the UT Southwestern Medical School – Austin program and her cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She practiced in central Wisconsin prior to joining The Heart Institute. Dr. Roskos joined The Heart Institute in 2017. She earned her B.S. degree in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado - Boulder. She practiced in central Wisconsin prior to joining The Heart Institute. Dr. Roskos specializes in non-invasive cardiology. Her career focus has primarily been on heart disease in women, specifically in respect to preventative cardiology and cardio-oncology. Additionally, her skill set includes cardiovascular imaging, specifically transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiogram, as well as nuclear cardiology.
